Be Hungry!
But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel. (Psalm 22:3)
We want the full habitation of God in our lives! We want the deeper things of Him: His presence; His love; His direction; His encouragement; His peace; His joy; His very manifest presence. We want more, more, MORE of Him. The First step is to be HUNGRY for more. How much more do YOU want of Him?. In Psalm 63:8, David cries out to God with a deep HUNGER to follow and pursue Him.
My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. (Psalm 63:8)
True worship begins in our heart as we look to Him in dependency. It is then that He is revealed to us as He revealed Himself to Moses:
Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed, "Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth, (Exodus 34:6)
What does David know that we don't?
Throughout biblical History, people such as the prophet Samuel and King David had their very identity wrapped up in Praising and ministering to God's presence. David made sure that he worshiped 24/7 and God broke his enemies before him!
David came to Baal Perazim, and David struck them there; and he said, Yahweh has broken my enemies before me, like the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim. (2 Samuel 5:20)
In Joshua 13, God promised the 12 tribes of Israel blessings of land but one tribe, the Levites, didn't receive that land, but received the greatest blessing of all as they were the only tribe invited into the presence of God, entering the Holy of Holies through praise and worship of the Lord. How much protection and blessing to you want to see?
Battles are WON in Praise!
“Breakthrough” doesn't come during mourning, it comes during PRAISE!
PRAISE is where wars are won. The Israelites knew this and they would not go into
battle until after the worshipers went in first! (2 Chronicles 20:20-
Throughout the Holy Scriptures, other battles were won after praising God (remember
the “praise parade” around the wall of Jericho?), and even the prison doors of Paul's
jail cell few open after a “praise-
We're to use praise to fight OUR battles:
May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-
Worship is the “WAY of Heaven”.
The Angels, His army, the sun, moon and even the waters above the heavens praise
him (Psalm 148:1-
And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. (Revelation 4:8)
Worship Glorifies God as we enter into His Gates with Thanksgiving
The curtain which previously separated the Holy of Holies (where God's presence dwelled) from us has been ripped and torn down by the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross so we do not need an invitation to enter into or begin ministering to God's presence. We can enter in whenever we choose and we desperately need the presence of God and WORSHIP GLORIFIES god. Praising and worshiping God through music, prayer or a combination of these is one of the easiest ways to usher in the presence of God.

over my life, over my schedule, over my family, over my “rights”, my ideals and my
dreams! “
“Help me Lord Jesus, for you know all of the worries and cares I have. You know, Lord, the things 'on my plate', all that I have to get done and my responsibilities. Create for me a time to commune with you and show it to me clearly and guide me into it, giving me courage, peace and a deep burning desire for more and more of you.”
“I want to go so much deeper into my relationship with you and I repent now of anything that I have put before you and my time with you. I love you Lord and I want MORE. I want to get lost in you. I want you to be number one in my life and I know that my time and schedule has to reflect that, aside from my actions and my heart.”
“Show me mercy and grace Lord, as I work out setting this time aside for you, and show me HOW to come before you in a way that would honor and bless you. Give me radical faith, Lord and feed whatever seed of hunger I have in my heart. I want to hear your voice! I want to see your FACE! You will know when you have come to this place because “things will happen”.
Step 4 speaks about “staying there until you receive the blessings”. You may feel
weird at times, feel more peace than is natural, more joy, or you may have ideas
or revelations that you know are not your own or out of your own wisdom. LISTEN
for HIS VOICE! Stay there until you receive the blessing. Use the “power tools”
found throughout this site, along with some of the Healing Prayers found here too,
at least until you have formed power-

We have devised more praise starters to get your motor going and there is a small article on praise called Love Letters to Daddy” on our site. ASK for MORE. Write down what you hear. He WILL reveal Himself to you in more miraculous ways as you continue in this journey into his presence. Then, share with others and encourage them to the throne, taking them with you if necessary.
Remember to go through the “power tools” for this section in the box at right and claim them out loud until the Lord “moves”.

We enter His gates with thanksgiving! We enter into the very courts of the throne room with PRAISE!. This verse isn't speaking to WHEN we enter into His gates and courts... but its speaks to HOW WE GET THERE!
PRAISE is the “Doorway” to the Kingdom
PRAISE is the “way” that causes a two fold supernatural manifestation of the spirit worship in our hearts. As we look to God and exalt His name,
proclaiming who He is before the earth, heaven and the kingdom of darkness, a work begins inwardly, we start to get out of our flesh and into our spirit which is where we can meet God. He is not flesh and cannot meet us there. This is why we are told to pray in the spirit at all times.
with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints: (Ephesians 6:18)
Gratitude and praise is not the same thing!
Gratitude and being thankful, while necessary, is still focused on SELF ...while praise is ALL ABOUT HIM. We're to come to him with petitions and supplications, as His word directs, but the only way to get into His Manifest Presence is to get OUT of ourselves, out of our flesh and meet Him in the spirit, and that is through the doorway of PRAISE. I will bet that the angels who worship 24 /7 are not speaking one word of themselves, not even THINKING of themselves. What do they know that we do not?
Through him, then, let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name. (Hebrews 13:15)
The enemy KNOWS this “Secret Doorway”
The enemy knows that PRAISE USHERS YOU INTO GOD'S PRESENCE

Praise is the key that releases God's character back into even the ugliest of attitudes and darkest of situations. The enemy bombards us with overwhelming situations and circumstances to keep you focused on yourself, constantly trying to beat you down so that it's near impossible to LOOK UP AND PRAISE GOD! If Satan could get you to focus on your own situations, you take your eyes off of God, the true source of healing and power and the only one who can do anything in your life.
Satan KNOWS that if you start to open your mouth with Praises, the spirit of FEAR would be destroyed and BLESSING after blessing will flow upon your life. God's word says that at the name of Jesus, everything in Heaven,on earth and UNDER the earth must bow so cry out blessings to Jesus NOW! “LORD JESUS, I BLESS your HOLY NAME...”
We want the Manifestation of the Living God
The type of praise and worship that will open the door to the throne room is revealed by revelation from the Holy Spirit to be "prophetic praise and worship intercession." Only a visitation or outpouring of the “fire” of God will so purge us and prepare us that the results will be a filling with glory, the manifestation of the living Christ dwelling in us
Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of Yahweh filled the house. (2 Chronicles 7:1)
Seven times a day, I praise you, because of your righteous ordinances. (Psalm 119:164)
“Worship”... “Honor”... “Adoration”...
Blessed are those who dwell in your house. They are always praising you. Selah. Blessed
are those whose strength is in you; who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage. Passing
through the valley of Weeping, they make it a place of springs. Yes, the autumn rain
covers it with blessings. They go from strength to strength. Everyone of them appears
before God in Zion. (Psalm 84:4-
We will go from strength to strength as set our hearts on pilgrimage, on the road ahead that He has for us...and we are ALWAYS praising His name, blessed that we dwell in His house. Though we may pass through a stage of weeping, we WILL make it to the fresh springs, if we set our hearts on pilgrimage, on the road ahead, going from strength to strength – and always praising God.
Praise till it becomes a sacrifice.
Through him, then, let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name. (Hebrews 13:15)
Praise until you “loose yourself” and you may feel you no longer exist. praise until the spirit of worship comes, then worship until the glory comes, and then you will stand in the glory." There is only one "way" to God's throne room. Enter into your spirit by lifting yourself out of the flesh and come into agreement with the angels, with praise, honor and adoration of the Living God who is worthy of ALL your praise. Worship in truth (His word) and listen.
Sing onto the Lord a NEW SONG!
Sing songs as they have done all throughout scripture (Isaiah 6:3 ) and the throne room will open for you.
Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don't know. (Jeremiah 33:3)
I have been in churches who called themselves worshipers and the words to their “worship music” was from the perspective of a sinner crying out to God. WORSHIP IS WORSHIP! Yes, we are to make ourselves lower but we don't have to beat ourselves up in doing that. All we have to do is glorify God, lift HIM up and give him all the honor He is due.
You may have your favorite worship CD's but I cannot say it enough that the goal here is to get OUT of the flesh, and so many worship songs can be rote, routine, dry or not adoring enough.
(I share some of my favorite ones in the box at right. I find the Lord's presence is consistent with spontaneously written worship music.) Seek out music to “come into agreement” with, in full adoration, honor and praise.
