But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31 NKJ)

Heave
nly Father, we bow down to your authority over our life and over our heart.
We've been so wounded by the actions of others and by our own hand and we don't
want to carry this burden any longer. Come Lord Jesus, Help us to let go of anything
that we have picked up that is not ours to carry (call out what you see is there;
burdens, anger, resentment towards someone, “have to's” in life that no one else
is expecting from us, ask Jesus what HE sees and then tell Him you are giving that
up to Him and seek HIS truth about these matters). I trust in you, Lord for ALL things,
NO MATTER WHAT and I leave my past up to you as well and receive your healing. Give
me YOUR peace and YOUR joy and YOUR Love so that I may pour it out on others as you
pour into me. I will give you all the glory, thank you, Father God for hearing my
prayers and I ask all of this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Nothing is wasted with God. We come with broken lives and shattered dreams and in this way, we are no longer “enamored” of ourselves and we reach out in our weakness and He runs to us. He uses it all.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine
own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. (Proverbs 3:5-
His purpose for us is perfect and His kindness, His patience, His mercy, His love, His grace, all lead us into salvation. We are purchased by His blood and redeemed.
If you're hurting right now, pour out your heart to the Lord and ask Him to take
all that is heavy on your heart. Ask Him to reveal what is holding you back from
walking in the peace that He offers you. Ask Him to restore all that was lost, whether
it's lost years in a terrible situation, lost health in illness, or finances, whatever
it is you've been through and lost, He can restore ALL THINGS, so stop trying to
figure it all out.
Work to “resolve” any bitterness, unforgiveness or anger, anything you may hold against another or against anyone who has hurt you or sinned against you, and go through the cleansing steps we have outlined on our site (see First Aid” Section). Claim the “Power Tool” in the box below and go through the “healing Promises” and find some that speak to your heart, writing them down and claiming them daily until you “receive the blessing”.
Despite the betrayal and backstabbing that Joseph endured, the Lord was always with Joseph, and he prospered: at the age of 30 he was released from prison and put in charge of the whole land of Egypt, second only to Pharaoh.
By this time Joseph had the character to leverage the information that God had revealed through Pharaoh's dream and God also gave him the wisdom on the future trends in the grain markets that allowed him to both prosper and later, save the country. In essence, he was the first grain futures trader! Ultimately, there was enough grain to feed his family when they came and in particular, his brother Judah who was carrying the line of Christ.
“But it's not FAIR!”
Sometimes, when we are in “hidden pride” (focusing on ourselves and the “wrongs done us”), we want to see others come to pay for what they did. We want what's “FAIR”, right? That's how the world sees things, right? God will hold those accountable who have sinned against you as well...just like He will hold US accountable for OUR sins.
I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (Jeremiah 17:10)
No one goes free from consequences, so we can let go of revengeful thoughts, bitterness, wanting to see another “pay” for what they did, and know that God will do whatever He deems necessary to accomplish what He has set out to do from when the world first began. If you struggle with unforgiveness, you might be interested a handy “tool” to use in “resolving” bitterness in: “The Magic Key” and “#1 Killing Disease – Worldwide”.
God uses our experiences to minister to others
But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted,
it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings
which we also suffer. Our hope for you is steadfast, knowing that, since you are
partakers of the sufferings, so also are you of the comfort.
(2 Corinthians 1:6-
As we receive comfort from God, we can reach out and comfort, help and strengthen others. God helps us, so we can help others. What we go through is NOT just for ourselves but He wants us to use every experience that you've gone through to help someone else.
Who can better comfort the grieving than one who has lost a loved one? Who can better help someone going through a terrible sickness than one who has been through it themselves? God never wastes a hurt. What you're most embarrassed about or what you most regret, where you've been hurt and maybe to the point of despair, God can use that. IF NOT, then it was all for nothing, right?
Don't let your trials be for nothing but reach out, watch for an opportunity to reach out to another, because the Lord will bring them. He will bless you in whatever you pour out that is of Him. He can restore all things and many out there need hope. “Pour out as you've been poured into”.
God uses our experiences to encourage
...and
motivate others
Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
People always feel better talking to someone who has gone through what they are going through. We identify with a pastor or friend more when they relate something of their own experiences and just knowing that you've gone through it and turned out ok, will encourage another that their trials are not the end of the world.
Having sinned and learned a lesson from the consequences, we are also able to speak to another first hand about those consequences and encourage them so that they also do not make the same mistakes:
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called "today;" lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. (Hebrews 3:13)
God uses our experiences to set an example to others.
Brothers, be imitators together of me, and note those who walk this way, even as you have us for an example. (Philippians 3:17)
Paul knew that it's human nature to imitate, just like it is a toddler's strategy to learn things by imitating those around him.
We all need models to take after. The trouble is that the role models of the world are influencing our children at record rates now that technology has gotten to the explosive point that it has. Even though none of us is perfect, we're to encourage each other in holiness, hold each other accountable to His word so that none would perish. We do this because of His love for us and thus, we love each other.
His ways are not ours
...so we are not always going to understand Him. In fact, His word says that His ways are “foolishness” to the world. Deuteronomy says that “his works are perfect and His ways are just, a Faithful God who does no wrong”
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-
Don’t even TRY to figure it out when the Lord puts it on your hear to do something. Don't try to figure out what's going on in your life or what happened in the past unless you are asking the Lord what HE has for you in it and be willing to learn from it. If he shows you some area of sin, repent/renounce it and be cleaned up. If you're in a situation that seems totally hopeless, trust me, He has already figured out a plan and if you surrender and ask for guidance, He will lead you into it, but NOTHING is a surprise to Him.
Walk in His ways to live!
Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, (Deuteronomy 10:12)
We're told to LOVE Him and to SERVE Him and to keep His commands, to Fear Him and to do this with our whole heart, mind and soul. Deuteronomy 30:16 tells us that if we DO this, then you will “Live” and “Increase” and that He will “bless you in the land you are entering to posses”.
Not only did the Father call and save a people, but He also ordained them a task of great importance. He wills to accomplish something wonderful through us, that the magnificent wisdom of God can be known through the Church to the powers and principalities in the Heavenlies (*). We are called His bride. His love and intimacy that He wishes to share with us cannot compare to anything on earth. Upon this very thing, angels long to look.
To them it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, they ministered these things, which now have been announced to you through those who preached the Good News to you by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven; which things angels desire to look into. (1 Peter 1:12)
There is no “waste” with God
By L. Hainline
“Every tear, every heartache that is offered up to me now is
counted, is weighted
and is returned double in blessings. If my children would understand this, they would
readily offer up all that is unholy, all that is unproductive, all that tarnishes
their heart against me and against others. I waste nothing but work out all things
for the glory of those who love me” ... I heard the Lord say to me this morning ...and
then He told me to look up 1 Peter 5:6-
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you
in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Be sober
and self-
There is no waste in God's economy.
All things have a purpose. Every circumstance, every event, every person, every blade of grass and flower, every ray of the sun has meaning. In this same way, He doesn't waste any experience of ours. Even when we are not walking that tight with Him and go off the path a bit (which we do daily, right?), He will still use everything. Every tear, every heartache, He uses everything. Nothing is wasted as He orchestrates with the ultimate purpose of displaying the greatness of His eternal glory to the world.
All things work for the glory of those who love him
We need to rest in the fact that no matter what happens to us, what man has meant for evil, god will use good, for HIS GLORY. Joseph's life was one filled with wrongful accusations and betrayals, throne into prison and left to languish there for years but Joseph was able to proclaim with boldness that what others meant for evil, God had used for good”:
“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.” (Genesis 50:20)
Joseph did not have the character to take on the destiny that God had revealed to him through his dreams...but in the end, through God's “remedy”, prosperity and promotion in his life and career came through a constant decision to trust God and serve those around him in humility.
