“If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire,
and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7)
We already mentioned at the Healing Source that there is truly ONLY ONE HEALING SOURCE and that is the Lord Jesus Christ, who shed blood on the cross for the sins of the world and who opened up a portal to Heaven for all those who would call Him Lord & Savior.
or anywhere else for that matter,
and you will NOT RECEIVE ANY POWER apart from Him.
In John 15, Jesus shares a correlation between the vine and the branches to the different types of disciples; some real and some are not. He says that “TRUE BELIEVERS” are the ones bearing fruit, obey, continue in His love and remain in a close relationship with Him. FALSE believers do none of those things and follow Jesus temporarily...or when it suits them. This next part is something a lot of people don’t want to hear, and some may take issue with, but verse 6 talks about that second kind being TOSSED IN THE FIRE AND BURNED!
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it
shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so
shall ye be my disciples. (John 15:7-
And while we’re on the subject, one area that REALLY hits us in the gut is when Jesus tells of many who will try to enter into the kingdom, who professed to prophesy in His name and perform miracles:
“Then I will tell them plainly, ‘ I never knew you. Away from me you evildoers’.”(Matthew 7:22)
Jesus had just got done talking again about the trees that do not produce fruit and Jesus said that apart from him we can DO NOTHING (john15:5). It’s His desire to “KNOW” us, intimately, as it’s His desire that we know Him
It’s CRUCIAL to abide in Christ, an exhortation not only to unbelievers but also to Christians. In a positional sense, we do abide in Christ – that is the character of being saved. But in a very real sense, a lot of Christians fail to abide as fully as they ought to. We lose the joy and the experience of that fellowship when we do not abide in a close relationship with Jesus Christ.
A person has two choices: He can be a Christian who truly abides in Christ….or he can be an unbeliever who fails to bear fruit, continue in Christ’s love, obey His command and therefore, ends up in an ultimate and eternal disaster.
“He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. (John
6:56 -
The American Standard Version says: “Dwelleth in me”;
the New international version says: “Abideth in me”;
the Western English Version says: “LIVES in me”
and WE say: “AMEN!”
The above verse is speaking about the breaking of the bread in communion, which is what you need to do if you have not already, but we want to talk about daily living with the Lord.
If you do nothing else suggested here at this site, learning how to truly abode in Him moment by moment, learning how to surrender your all and listen to His voice..and then learning how to RECEIVE FROM HIM, is the most crucial factor in not only receiving your healing, but more important than anything else you do in life. Without Him we are “Dead in our transgressions” and we also will not see the Kingdom but spend eternity separated from God, a place so horrible that our human minds cannot comprehend it. Learning how to ABIDE in Him is the next step after receiving Him into your heart.
Even if you know the Lord Jesus Christ, there is a deeper place YET that you can go to, and we hope to lead you there, to the throne where “miracles, signs & wonders” occur (2 Corinthians 12:12) .
In our section on going “Deeper Into His Presence”, we will show you how to receive even more from Him & to HEAR His voice. It is in His presence that all things get done if you truly surrender your life! You don't have to try to “fix” it, control it, figure it out or dissect your life anymore. HE DOES IT ALL!
When I share with other believers the things that I've received from the Lord,
many respond incredulously; “you HEAR FROM GOD?!” and I sometimes say; “of course
...don't YOU?!” I even had a pastor question this to me, and then look at me as
if I was a part of a cult and then told me how un-
How do you have a relationship with someone who does not RESPOND to you? Jesus calls us “FRIEND” even:
Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love. If you
keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's
commandments, and remain in his love. I have spoken these things to you, that my
joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full. "This is my commandment,
that you love one another, even as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than
this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you
do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn't
know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard
from my Father, I have made known to you. You didn't choose me, but I chose you,
and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should
remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
"I command these things to you, that you may love one another. (John 15:9-
Some believe that God stopped speaking to His people after the scriptures were
given. Some Churches even TEACH this! I don't even want to visit this argument
because it denies any sovereignty of God, revelation of Him and totally puts him
in a box bound up with supernatural duct tape! It's just absurd and this teaching
is un-
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (Hebrews 13:8)
I take that to believe that Jesus is the same from the beginning of time in everything: the way He thinks and operates, His laws and expectations; His truths; His desires; His passion for us; His directives, you name it, what can change? He also upholds everything by His power, including everything in the heavens (Hebrews 1:3), so what gives us any idea that anything about Him would change the way He operates from what He's done 3000 years ago?!
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. (John 10:27)
When you're in trouble, it is normal for you to expect God to send His messengers to help you (2 Chronicles 36:16). He sustains you (Psalm 18:35). It is normal for God to comfort your heart (Isaiah 49:13) and speak to you so definitely that you can stand in the middle of trail and tribulation and boldly proclaim what God gives you to say, or do what He empowers you to do.
The entirety of Scripture witnesses to this. He did not just give you the written word and say: “Now you go and figure this out for yourself”! NO! God speaks TO and THROUGH His people. If you need more references on this topic, pick up your bible and read about Elijah, David, Nathan, Ezra, Jeremiah, Hosea, Isaiah… Think of how God arranged for Philip to meet up with the Ethiopian eunuch. Think of Priscilla and Aquila enlightening Apollos. Think of John in exile on Patmos.
“I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness. I didn't say to the seed of Jacob, 'Seek me in vain.' I, Yahweh, speak righteousness. I declare things that are right.” (Isaiah 45:19)
Some people even ARGUED WITH God! Oh yeah, I'm thinking Hey, if He revealed
Himself to me the way He did to Moses, would I REALLY argue with Him?! But that's
what Moses did, while others were angered like when God spoke to Cain about the murder.
Although scripture is not always clear whether it was an audible voice, an inner
voice, or a mental impression that men heard when God spoke, The Bible records God
speaking audibly to people many times (Exodus 3:14; Joshua 1:1; Judges 6:18; 1 Samuel
3:11; 2 Samuel 2:1; Job 40:1; Isaiah 7:3; Jeremiah 1:7; Acts 8:26 -
Point being: God speaks!
An important vehicle for the Lord is His word. I guarantee you that if you just take in God’s word daily, you will start to Hear His voice, His revelation to you and Will for you more often. Test me on this. Go to your bible or to our section on “Healing Promises” and start to call these out loud...then wait...and listen.
As we seek the Lord and immerse ourselves in His word; in praise and honor; waiting upon Him as we sacrifice our time to honor Him, as we enter into humility and surrender, He WILL MAKE HIMSELF KNOWN, and I'm talking about manifesting His presence. Again, read sections from “In His Presence” to find more on how exactly to do this.
“Isaiah is very bold, and says, "I was found by those who didn't seek me. I was revealed to those who didn't ask for me." (Romans 10:20)
I love those who love me. Those who seek me diligently will find me. (Proverbs 8:17)
We are not going to hear His voice with all the clamor that goes round inside our head on a daily basis. He doesn't speak to our flesh and our emotions. I once heard someone say that we can't expect God to “commune in the flesh” with us as He is not flesh...and God’s word tells us to “pray in the spirit at all times” (Ephesians 6:18). This is the place to meet the Lord, face to face. To Hear the voice of God you're going to have to be still, to find that closet and shut the door while life goes around you, and focus solely on Him.
“But you, when you pray, enter into your inner chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” (Matthew 6:6)
Being asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, he answered them,
"The Kingdom of God doesn't come with observation; neither will they say, 'Look,
here!' or, 'Look, there!' for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-
Even if you're struggling to find the physical time and space to do this, there is also a resting place you can come to in your mind and soul, to focus solely on Him and speak to Him. This may mean a “restroom break” when you're at work and feeling stressed. It may mean the 30 minutes before you drift off to sleep or take that long ride home to speak to him in your car..
Ask the Lord to create more time with Him and to give you the mind to see these opportunities. The more He pours out to you, believe me, the more time you will want to run there! Listen for the “small still voice”.
“And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the
fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his
face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And,
behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?” (1
Kings 19:12-
“Stand in awe, and don't sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.” (Psalm 4:4)
You need to seek his presence with praise and thanksgiving:
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Give thanks unto him, and bless his name. (Psalm 100:4)
And meet Him in the spirit, not flesh where He can not be found (read: My “Secret Door Experience” & His Presence, where all things get taken care of ) . His word says to pray in the spirit at all times;
with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints: (Ephesians 6:18)
Ask for the Holy Spirit’s anointing and listen for that still small voice. The Holy Spirit will teach us ALL THINGS:
And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any one teach you; but as his anointing teacheth you; concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye abide in him. (1 John 2:27)

Many years ago I was struggling with some continued abuse and I went to the throne, working at the time at my church when no one was there. I cried out at the throne for an hour or so with my head to the floor. Feeling as if a loud noise startled me, I felt the Lord reveal to me that He cannot get 2 words in with all the constant pleadings going around and around in my head! I mean here I was, wanting to hear from God, but I didn't give him a chance to speak! I was doing all the talking!
Elijah didn't hear the Lord in the earthquake, the wind that tore the mountains apart and shattered rocks and he didn't hear Him in the fire...He heard him in the gentle whisper that followed. REMEMBER: we're talking about the SAME GOD!
We also see great signs of wonder; how many people heard the Lord speak as they got on their knees right after that tsunami ripped through the Indian Ocean in 2004 or the one that ripped through the Samoan Islands in 2009? You can lump 9/11 in there too if you want to talk about catastrophes AND the “modern day prophets”, people who fight to stay at the throne and hear God, who foretold these events YEARS before they happened. Miracles in the skies and on earth are said to keep coming in the last days. Are we listening? Are we BOWING?

APART FROM HIM YOU CAN DO NOTHING!
Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears
fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already pruned clean because
of the word which I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch
can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless
you remain in me. I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and
I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. (John

We will produce outward fruit because of the inward fruit from abiding in Him and thus, God will answer our prayers and petitions. We, thus, produce more fruit.
